put the dipstick back in? <- thats a joke...its supposed to be funny. Can't blame me for trying

either that or you got way too much oil in there. which could snap your crankshaft.

no the dipstick is in there. and how could it snap the crankshaft?
this started right before i put new oil in. my 3000 miles were up and so i went to change the oil and it was spewing when the car was on. so i went ahead and changed the oil and then did nothing but keep on spewing. my dad things that there some thing wrong with the dip stick tube. but i do not think so. so if anyone has an idea what it could be that would be great.

Do a compression check when the car is cold, then put a little oil in the cycinders and do the compression check again. Make sure you write down the information each time you do the compression check for each cyclinder. Then let the car warm up and do another compression check with it warm. This will determine wheather or not you have a bad cyclinder or not. I had oil pushing out of my dip stick and oil cap and have taken out cyclinder 1 & 2 from too much boost. The oil is a sure sign of something wrong. Or maybe you will be lucky and have a bad dipstick, sometime the seal on the stick goes bad. Hope this helps.

Another alternative is failed PCV, combined with clogged secondary vent (going from the back end of the valve cover to the intake tube). The PCV is on the back of the valve cover and goes to the intake manifold.

If these are blocked, any blow-by will look for another place to leave, and the dipstick tube is convenient, although the bottom is in oil, which is why oil is leaving through there.

But you may have excessive blow-by caused by numerous problems (bad rings, valve seals, etc, but usually they show other indicators (like oil smoke from the exhaust).

IIRC, mine was $65 at Pep Boys for a new Bosch brand pump. And it was really easy to change. Of course, the engine was out of the car at the time.

It's one of those jobs where hopefully, you are close to the time to change your timing belt, because you have to take it off to get to the water pump.

my dad looked at the pump and then he told me to run it until it dies then take it some where.

the pump was 42.51 at autozone, but i have not looked into the price it will take to put in.

but i know that it will be alot!
