New To Board, Have Questions :>
I thought it prudent to introduce myself and my car...
For the last 3 months I've been the owner of a 1993 BG Hatch, which is a 'Clair' spec - 1.6 Carby SOHC AWD.
I'm no stranger to swinging a spanner, my daily driver is a Galant VR4, and the Mazda is destined for great things <g>
What I am in need of , however, is a Service CD for a BG GTX 1.8 Turbo, I've found a couple of places on the net that sell them, but only to ppl who have the Paper manual already, which I do not, and cannot get for less than about NZD$400 (Which is a weeks wages)
We chose this car because of its potential, with no luxury options at all, it is the lighest of the BG's(Even lighter than the fabled GT-ae), along with having a mechanical fuel pump, so plumbing a decent inline one will be quite easy...
If anyone can help with my Manual predicament, they will earn my gratitude for a _Very_ long time...
Cheers,
Mark

hi there mark!
nice to see some another kiwi hitting the boards. not to mention another crusader
we'll have to keep in touch as you get into your project and i get into mine (see my sig for the engine i bought last night )
now as far as the manual goes, i can't help but i may know someone who can....
there are a couple of guys around chch who have the expertise at building these cars up and the one who has a business is justin prattley - they maintain and race one of those gt-ae's. the company is called austin prattley motors or somesuch. i forget the name of the street but they are in the phonebook - if you're driving down moorhouse across from brent's toyotas and you cross over the railway lines, there is a street that runs parallel to moorhouse just there - they are on that street.
thats who i'd be asking first about the manual.
anyway, hope to catch you around!

I'll have to catch up with you at the Nats in a coupla weeks, I'll be there with the NZMMC, and our usual load of DV cameras, easiest way to find me will be to find the Charcoal grey vr4 that'll be in the pits, and say your lookin' for me, I should be somewhere nearby....
I assume your car is the one in ya sig, PM your rego plate to me so I can keep an eye out for you when I'm out and about.
Cheers,
Mark
