Angry My Trunk Lid Rattles!

I was wondering if anyone has the same problem (oh had the same problem), and what could I do about it. When my sub hits.... it rattles... then it hits again... then it rattles again.

What do I have to tighten?? When I hold down on the trunk lid (while my sub is pounding) the rattling stops!

N E Ideas? Quick Fixes?

Do a search for MSC dynamat? Its the cheap Dynamat clone ****. Any way I paid about 40 bucks and got a 22lb box work of it. More to line my car and maybe 3 others.

Thanx guys but I already purchased that stuff about 3months ago! By the way the stuff works pretty good...

What I wanted to know is what bolts do I have to tighten or adjust in order to make my trunk lid to stop rattling.

Im thinking that if you tighten the bolts which are going to be towards the front of the car there is still going to be nothing near the *** end to keep that in lid place. Its only when you put weight on it that it doesn't rattle right?

Are you sure it's the trunk lid itself and not the license plate?

My car had a license plate rattle problem that I fixed by using stickyback Velcro tape on the trunk and the license plate. Just a thought

The license plate is rattling too and much worse but the trunk lid rattle also. The sticky back velcro tape idea I'm going to definatly do but I'm still stuck w/ the tunk lid rattle.

When I press down on the trunk lid a little the rattling does stop. I was wondering what bolts can I adjust and tighten on the hinge of the trunk lid that would help me minimize that rattle.
