Looks or Performance?

BPT for sure... that's what I did. I think I'll be very happy with it too. Give me about another week and the car will be done. Then I'll tell you whether it is worth it or not. The car before this was a '93 DX that had a lot of stuff done to it in terms of appearance and sound. All that stuff was grand but I got my *** kicked by everybody... that wasn't too fun.

Body kit should be the last thing you put on your car. You can go for looks first only if your car is in a really bad shape. If it's rusted out, by all means fix that first and then do the swap. If the car is perfectly fine exterior wise, do the swap and worry about the body kit later.

i'll second that and add, if it dosen't make me go faster, stop or handle better, it's not a priority.

I'm planning on a KL-ZE, but I'm going to get the jspec front and rear bumpers first, as well as my body kit and paint. If you saw my paint, you'd understand. Also it's going to take a long *** time to get the money for a KL-ZE swap, I don't want to have to wait that long to do stuff to my car, I'd probably sell it by then... *sigh*

looks first
I would go for the body kit first because the cosmetics cost more it seems unless you do an engine swap but then you gotta think it might be the same for the body kit you have to put it on and then have it painted. but the again to each his own

punctuation and complete sentences, HA.. whats wrong with sentences that run on and on and on... errr....
anywho, body kits look nice, but take into account, for all the hours worth of work you put into an engine modification, there's going to be on-going maintenance of tweaking and/or getting everything right. if you've got the time and you love your protege that much, do the damn swap for god's sake, i mean, one word.... TURBO TURBO TURBO. body-kits you can just get bolted on and painted, and then forget about cept for washing and waxing, but i think driving a car is WAY better than LOOKING at a car.
