Question Looking for better seats

The driver's seat in my car is collapsed (the previous owner was BIG) and it's time to replace it. I've looked at MX3 seats, but the only ones I could find were rough or way over priced. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of other seats that might fit or be adapted. When I was rallying, I adapted my racing seat into several cars, so that typically isn't too much of a problem.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. BTW, I autocross the car, so I'm looking for seats will hold me in place.

thanks
tom

I would also like to know what oem seats would fit in the G1 pro. Would any Honda seats fit into the pro? Are mazda seat tracks same?
Thanks once again fellow Pro'ers.

Unscrew the seat tracks from the seat its self and blot your old ones on it. I did that to my '88 323, and I got the seats out of a '94 escort. The tracks didnt match up so I unscrewed them from my old seats(4 bolts) and screwed them to the new seats. The places where the seat tracks were bolted in matched right up and it was very easy. I am not sure about protege seats but that works for 323 seats. You dont need to buy ones with tracks that match right up, because I know any can just use their old ones and use up like 10 extra minutes of their time.

Ouaip.

Hey guys! I just purchased a set of 94 mx-3 seats from www.MazdaRecycling.com for $200 for the set. I live in Va. so shipping is 50 bucks a piece. The guys sent me pics of the seats before purchase and they look sharp. I will be changing the black with green inserts to better match my car...black with tan inserts. I think it'll look sharp and for the price it's a very good deal. Check em out. The mx-3 seats are a hell of alot better than what came in my DX.
