Intake Adaptor(again)

I just ordered the adaptor, will it add hp?? would a plain filter work as well as a K&N or any high flow cones...?

And when I put this on, will there be a place to mount my intake when i take off my old filter and compartment?

it will add some hp, but not much. you will feel a difference however. K&N claims they are the best but im not so sure anymore. i like my Tenzo-R filter a lot.

when i mouonted mine, there were no places to mount anything to. so it just sits in that little space next to the left fender.

hope that helps some.

no the vaf and the filter just sit there between the head light and the battery. when you take out all the stock parts make sure you do not do it at night because one part is hard to see. other then that it is easy. for the filter i have a cheap one from the local speed shop, but for hp not really. but you will hear some new sounds.

Ive already takin apart everything and i know what goes where already, so that wont be a problem...

the sounds i already know, my brother occasionally drives w/out a filter n it sounds nice...

Hopefully, ill get to do some handy work with heating and cooling piping.. i can use all the hp i need, only so i can show my bro whats up in his z24...

you will notice a slight gain in hp, but not by much.

i feel that K&N is a little overated.

as far as i could tell, when i took the airbox off, there was no place to bolt any of the new hardware down. so mine just sits in the little well next to the left side fender.

hope that helps some
