Well, here's a pic on the bottom. I was wondering where I could get a replacement cover(maybe, red? match my car) of the cover that goes around the speedometer and everything, and also if there was a site with a howto on putting it on

All you need to do is take your bezel out( thats what its called I think) and spray paint it your self.

cheap paint will scratch easy but since there a clear plastic piece over it , it shouldnt matter what kind of paint you use. you could even go with the color changing spray paint, or even that textured stuff if you wanted.

Yeah, but I removed mine to sell the whole unit and found that to remove the transparent plastic front will break it. I tried removing it because the previous owner had tried to clean it with the wrong cleaner and it kind of clouded the plastic. The buyer didn't care since it seems he needed the inside parts, I think.

Unfortunately I haven't taken the instrument pannel apart, so I can't help ya out. You have a haynes, correct?

Yes, I want to know how you took off the clear plastic front without breaking it.

find out whos car it is. then, search for threads that he wrote in regards to removing the plastic cover from the bezel. and THEN TRY IT OUT YOURSELF rather than waiting for someone to walk you through in baby steps
