Yep, another Mazda. 2 actually. Picked up a '92 Dx for my kid's g/f, and a new '04 3 Hatch, for my wife(and me too). The Taurus was, well-a Taurus. We had a big pissing match with the dealership over a warranty repair, and the car got traded in at the local Mazda place. So, I'll be dropping in from time to time and saying 'Hi". Later,
Bill

Welcome back!
You're a pretty cool guy to be buying a car for your kid's girlfriend. lol, when my wife and I first started going out, her dad chased me with a shovel when he found me in his car!

Oh hell no, she paid for it. Sorry, didn't mean to mislead you. I did all the legwork, she was about to buy a '95 Lx(I think, it was fully loaded) and wanted me to take a look at it. What a pile. It had been hit and poorly repaired, tires didn't match, and was using antifreeze(bad smell). I found her a good DX for cheap and checked it out gave it the blessing.

Hi itzkcatz(you couldn't make your name any harder to spell, could you ?? -)
Ummm, that makes 6?? The newest Protege is the kids girlfriends car, but I chose it, I take care of it, and I can use it any time I want. Really only 5 now, but hey, who really cares?? I still want to find myself a decent LX to play with, but after the fiasco with the white one($$), I'm still hurting.
Loving the new 3 too. I'm glad I chose the cheap route on that car. No leather, no Nav system, no tire pressure system, no extra bullshit nada no how no way. Turns out all the extra accessories are problematic. All I got was auto(wife's car) and sunroof/6 cd system.
