Yeah. Really.
Dude. I was driving home on the freeway from work the other day, and as I was driving in the second lane, I saw three cars with altezzas in front of me. It was stupid. Two cars in the lane to the right of me and one on the left lane. The ones on the right were together. What made it worse, was that they were -all- white cars. One was a Civic, another an IS, and I think the third, which was the one in the front was an Accord or some Acura. I said to my wife while motioning with my hand "altezza, altezza, altezza. That's just gay, and all of them are white. WTF?"
I see so many altezzas on the street now. I think someone here said they went to a car show and saw so many altezzas that he wanted to smash them all with a bat. That's soooooo true. GaaadAMN.

if you mean a is300 then you are mistaken they come stock with those lights...now i may be wrong(i dont think so though)but the name "altezza"actually comes from the european or japonese version of the lexus is300 which is called a "lexus altezza"

Either way, there were still three cars with altezza lights, and it was still gay.

I'll add my 5 cents (8 cents Canadian) to the issue:

1. Those taillights aren't "Eurostyle", they're 100% Japanese. The Europeans aren't fond of them and you won't see them on cars over there.

2. The Lexus IS is called the Altezza in Japan and IS in Europe.

3. Please call them what they are, ricelights.

4. Personally, I like the taillights on the 90-91 RX-7, smoked dark with two red areas for the brake and turn signals. You see them mostly on the convertibles. Subtle and cool, I've been thinking about trying to make some. Maybe I will once I've figured out how to strap this silver spray painted, 12" sewer pipe to my muffler to make my car look REALLY COOL!

Nuff said,
if it don't make it faster who cares?

Buy another car. A car designed more than a decade ago just doesn't look good with "eurolites" or whatever people call them, that only really look good on the IS300. A dude who lives in my apt complex has a Eclipse with the "Altezza-style" lights wrapped across the back. Oh, and chessy *** yellow-painted calipers and AEM stickers, licence plate frame and prolly on the exhaust too. Just reminds me of POSERS, that's all.

OMG i hate those lights soo bad..!!

THOSE LIGHTS ARE SO F**KING GAY ....i rather have an f-150 rear end me (knock on wood) then to have alteza lights on my pro...geez those things are soo corny!....now if u wanna know of some lights that would look so fresh on a pro....it would be some half red half white lights the ones on the Si..those are ill. And also probably some all clears. just my 25 cents.

Spenone..90 pro LX FRONT EVOIII BUMPER....M3 SIDE SKIRTS.....EREBUNI REAR CIVIC BUMPER.....I FINNALLY COMPLETED MY BODY KIT!!!!!....still no engine
