How much would you pay?

Im planning to sell my protege 94 DX, the car is white. It has 115k on the clock. i replaced the tranny(its auto), alternator, ignition system and I just gave it an alignment. As for the performance upgrades.. I have an exhaust (looks like the bombz style), Intake(just the cone and adaptor) and a Ractive front strut bar. The car runs nice and it's ready to be painted.Other things that I've done to it are a custom black painted interior, 30% tint, a Pioneer head unit , speakers and race pedals, it also has a EVO VII spoiler. I was gonna make it a rally lookin car but I gave up and Im planning to buy the LX (manual)and do the BPT swap. How much do you think they would give me? If I can I'll post pics.

Thanx.

for comparison I just bought a 94 Black LX in excellent condition- no mods. The motor is very strong- no smoke on start up. Body has the usual door dings, but the paint is perfect. Has the factory alloys with two excellent tires and two good. Interior is excellent with only one brown stain on the back seat right side. It has 150k hwy miles (I believe it given the state of the motor). A/C is perfect, power locks/windows all work. The only problem is it's going to need a clutch. I paid $1200. So I'd say that your car will fetch at least $1500 because it looks good, sounds good, is automatic, has less miles and needs nothing to be dependable transportation. I'd start at $1900 and go from there. See what they're fetching on Autotrader.com for your zip. -rob

Thumbs up Price

My suggestion is to go to http://www.kbb.com/ Many people use the kelly blue book to determine price. And it helps you give an idea as to what a car's value is. Now it's up to you how much extra you want to charge on top of your cars worth with all the mods you put into it. Hope this helps.

ready to be painted? as in primer color dull grey, or is in need of a coat of paint? i'd say with your mods, you usually can only reasonably expect to recover at tops, i'd say 35% of what you've put in, 15 to 20% respectively. sounds like a nice car, depending on your area, check kbb.com and autotrader.com to see what they're fetching. good luck
peace
