interesting question, if my fuel tank holds 14.5 gallons, and i get the fuel light with about 10.5 gallons burned out, solid fuel light around 11 to 11.5 gallons burned out, and engine sputtering over 4,000 rpms shortly after that??? as stupid as it sounds, i deliver pizza, and i follow my gas mileage very carefully, but i've never driven my tank under 11.6 gallons, meaning, through all of my driving in the past 1 3/4 years (technical ), why won't my car use the last 3 gallons of gas in my tank? i mean, if it's really low and i get the fuel light, i'll floor it just for kicks, and the engine cuts out or sputters momentarily right after 4,000 rpms? funky and strange to me.
peace
p.s. cleaned injectors, new fuel line and fuel pump

demon -- if the gas is at the bottom of the tank just splashing around the pump is going to have a hard time sucking it up.

edit:: I assume you got a new fuel filter too, right?
