.... true that, or you could go with the glass e-spec lights and corners for $395 a pair over in the group buy. If we can get a couple more folks, it'll be $350 for the pair.

First, buy 600, 800, 1500 and 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper; also buy a plastic cleaner and a finish restorer. All can be bought at PepBoys, Autozone, etc.

The procedure can not be easier.

1. Wet sand (a good stream of water while you sand the OUTSIDE of the lens going from 600 and up. Just do about 2 min. with each sandpaper.

2. Apply the plastic cleaner (follow their instructions).

3. Apply the restorer (follow their instructions).

The complete procedure it takes 20 min. tops.
I have gone through this problem before and i got the following tips from someone for the condition my lights were in.
You only really need 1500 or 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper depending on the severity. Mine werent too bad so i used 2000.
After the sandpaper, i polished the lenses with toothpaste (yeah, don't laugh, it worked since its finer than 2000 grit)
Then I used Plexus Plastic Polish cleaner that i bought online (usually pretty hard to find locally) and that was that.
Once a month i spray some more Plexus and buff it off after i wash my 323 for upkeep but other that, no sanding was necessary ever since (and that was a year and a half ago)

400 grit sandpaper (wet) and the same clear coat as I used on the whole car gave me this result:

Much better than before....

Oh yeah, and if the light looks different, I painted the housing black, too...

I used Liquid crystal car polish it contains no wax and took my yellowish, hazed headlights and made them crystal clear.
