The radio should come out a little bit. However, the wiring won't allow for much room to work. There are 2 plugs on the back of the radio that are towards the passenger side of the car. Once you unplug those 2 plugs, and disconnect the radio antenna plug from the top of the drivers side of hte radio it should come right out.

Actually it's just the opposite, i should know i had to put back in my stock h/u because some dumbass tried to steal my JVC, but they couldn't get it out, so they just took the faceplate and put a big screwdriver through it.

Check your car manual or buy a Haynes repair manual. It will explain everything in detail.
