Thumbs up Driving my car again

My car has been in the shop 3+ weeks too long....
Well i got it back today and it feels *tight*!!

New tranny/brake stuff....clutch, clutch slave, Redline D4 ATF, Corksport Bronzeoil bushings and stainless clutch line(understand this will esp help in preventing the 'mushy clutch feel' when its HOT outside), Goodridge brake lines(big diff so far...much firmer), and front OEM pads.
New suspension....rear TTL's; ES bushings for lower control arm, rear trailing arms(YES, the ZX2 bushings fit!!!), and ES 3/4" Protege front endlinks.
Also have the ST rear sway bar to install ....drove it home tonight *without any* rear sway bar....
It feels good! Ride is maybe just a touch 'rougher' but the steering is feeling very responsive... Just feels buttoned up
Keep in mind that ALL of this stuff - except for the brake pads - had NEVER been replaced; so its ez to tell a difference.
The EZiest to tell differences was in the 'snick' of the shifter and the SOLID pedal feel.

I took out my tranny to get the input shaft seal and output shaft seal replaced. well i was just informed yesterday that my bearings are shot in my tranny They have yet to get back to me with a price. or a time frame on when it will be done. this sucks. i thought i would have it back by now.

Unhappy man, sorry to hear that.....

what 'bearings' are bad? or are they referring to synchros??
was it shifting rough before you pulled it? mine really wasn't too bad.....and it was 196k on the original fluid!
i guess what i'm getting at is unless the shifting was 'rough', i'm wondering if you REALLY NEED to have any internal tranny work done...
