hey ive heard that there is a way to fine tune a distributor. is this possible on the 91 dx if so how do i go about doing this. i've already searched and didn't see any headlines on it.

Try searching under timing adjustments. I think that is what you are talking about.

At least on the Pro LX, you can get a little more performance by advancing the timing 4-5 degrees, a little more if you run higher octane gas. The LX is tuned VERY conservatively, timing-wise. Add in lower compression than it should have, and you have a huge margin for knock. Advancing the timing just takes away some of that margin.
