the Deadly 93 Protege is Dead :(

Well, I totalled my car today, ran into the back of a subaru, smashed up the whole front end. I loved that car, and did everything for it. so If I can't get it fixed, I will more than likely part it out. the drivers side of the car is all jacked up.

I am sad, because, as I said, I loved my car. Now maybe I can get me a new protege, or something else.

Thanks to everyone who helped me with things.

There must be something going around. Glad to see that you're well enough to type, though.

well, got insurance? eitherwise, i'd say just pull out your sound equipment, let the car sit around for about a month and part it out to people and send the **** out, make some money in the process and get another protege, who knows. tough break though, i rear ended a toyota corrolla at 20mph... hood, fender, headlight, and a bumper later, i have new body damage, but what are you going to do. structurally, these cars handle great in a crash.
peace

yeah, i planned on parting it out, so if ya know of something you need, let me know. Also, I plan on selling my subs, my deck, all my speakers, and my amp. so, if anyone needs any sound equipment, let me know.

Sucks to hear that bro. I got a 1990 Protege LX 5spd with 104k on it im selling. just got the timing fixed so it runs great now, gunna change oil and add some more trans fluid to it so it can be driven now. Ill take pics this weekend too of the car . If your intrested tell me. $1200 for the car, brand new tires, headgasket, Exhaust, and needs brakes, prolly goin to replace them too before car is sold.

Just an option. Im located in Annapolis Md.

VERY sorry to hear that! It must be something going around... because in this past MONTH two of my friends totalled their cars and my mom had her mustang totalled too. As far as selling parts off of it... do your window switches work good? If so I'll def. buy those. Again... sorry to hear of your misfortune.

hey Maz94protege, I am definately interested, but I will need to get ahold of some money, which I do not think will take me very long, if I end up parting out the dead pro.......

Please, get ahold of me sometime on AIM, or I can give you a number to call, I'd like to talk to you about it, I will PM you the phone number and all that jazz.
