CAI Question

Ok before I get flamed I will say that I did the search for/about CAI and found some but they all got off track without really any answers....I was thinking about getting the prm or weapon r....which one is actually designed to fit with little or no modificaton, and which one provides the most power... the pics at nopi look more like a pic of a universal intake, and it dosent look like it would fit the pro...and there is NO picture at corksport!! has anyone purchased this, if so what did you have to do to install it and do you have any pics...you can post them or email them to me...I am just tired of searching and want some straight up help...which one is the best, and which is actually for my pro

Scott, replace your intake pipe and get rid of the duct tape please!

"TB" is the throttle body and "VAF" is your air flow meter. Looking at the pic above, the TB is the thing that the intake hose connects to on the left side and the VAF is on the right side of the intake hose.

There were a few made a year or two ago, but I doubt you'll find anyone making them now. You can fabricate your own. For a few ideas check out page two of the thread I gave you a link to above......or do a search........

damn--i don't know--i've never heard of it----

but what you can do is buy a honda short intake tube and flip it upside down--cut the excess off---it fits in--or another thing i've been wanting to do lately is take the battery and move it to the back--this would leave alot of room to play with in making your intake system---i'm just too lazy lately to draw a plan up on it and do it.....
