BP Timing??
#2
I have rebuilt three 4.0L Jeep engines and am working on a fourth as we speak. On a 4.0 you cant adjust the timing. But obviously the BP is a much more advanced motor than the 4.0, so I am assuming its a little more complex. Which is why I ask.
If you know, why dont you enlighten me and the other members of the forum????
Or how about you????
I hope this forum doesn't become the mess that the eclipse forums have....
I don't think rebuilding it is such a good idea if you don't have an idea how to set timing yet...
oh man.. lol.. the pain

follow the instructions for the 1.6 - its pretty much the same. just ignore the idle rpm of 850; its 750 for us. and of course we have a distributor, in the location of *their* crank angle sensor.....
