Cool Bought my new 323 today

1991, 262 000km.... for 500$

The engine is running very fine, and the trans is very good too...

the suspension is totaly dead.... I'll have to change it soon...

I've did a trip of 470km with it(it was 250 highway and 220 of mountain road).... and it only took me 30L of gas to do it.... nicer mpg than my "old" 323 automatic..

I'm happy with it!

Congrats on the purchase.

Do you have any plans for the car as of yet.....besides working on the suspension? What exactly do you have to replace?

Is there anyone on the board who has a 95+ 323? I've seen like 2 in my whole life....

It will only be a transportation... not a race car.... but the engine is still VERY strong...

One of my friend who have a 1994 with a precidia with 100 000km said that my engine is better than the one in his precidia....

I'll soon change all shocks si it will ride perfectly

My father forgot his digital camera at his job.....
He will bring it back tomorrow so I'll take pics of it

The body isnt very great... but i'm only planing to keep it 2-3years so I don't really care about it...

One thing funny is that it had a body job under the taillight...
and some of it cracked so you can see a lil bit outside by this place... When the car hit 4500-5000rpm you hear some kind of whistle coming from there

My car makes a kind of whistling noise too...mostly at higher RPM, when I lift off the gas...almost sounds like a supercharger...it seemed to happen after I removed the power steering...

I think that I'll let the hole in the hackback.... It's too funny that sound

The driver side rear shock head is dead or something like that... there is no suspension at all there..... I removed the plastic trim where the shock head is... and it seem that there isnt rust here... so its not a part of the frame that is too rusted to stay there(one of my friends 323 did that)...

Ya, like that. Some dude washes one at my wash, but he has no clue how rare it is in North America. Anyone in the club have one of those?

And it's NOT a Ford Aspire. A Ford Aspire is a 323.
