i saw some BMW headlights on a 1st gen about 2 years ago on a website. i can't remember what website it was though. i'm not sure if they were the E36 headlights, but looked GREAT!

my uncle works at a BMW dealership in san diego, so maybe he can hook me up if they fit.

Heh this is a little off topic but in looking at that picture that guy goes to my dad's mechanic! CG Motorsports. It made me think how small the internet really is. Kinda funny I'm also going there today to see my dad's car with its head off(being rebuilt).

Yeah. I saw that earlier today. I shot off an email to the guy asking if he had any info on the headlight swap.

I'll prolly land up researching the swap in a couple of months if he doesn't respond. It's a swap I would love to do to the Pro.

like i said in a previous post - my uncle works at a BMW dealership, so i'm most likely gonna get the headlights when i move back to san diego!

I met that guy and he showed me his lights. I have a few closeups of it. He has the european spec ones that cost him an arm and a leg, and he has HID for highs and lows installed on it.
dan (the guy that owns that car) emailed me back, and said that it cost him $1500 for the headlight conversion! he said he had to cut the radiator core support in order for them to fit.

My mecanic can get the "angel eyes" E36 HID headlights if you guys are interested. I'll stop by and ask him how much... I'm pretty sure it's an American company that makes them so you guys are lucky...
