Beeping Seatbelt

My driver side automatic seatbelt is screwed up. The seatbelt warning light and beeping goes off every two seconds! Nothing is broken, it all works perfectly - except I have to adjust the shoulder strap constantly to stop the beeping. I hear this is a fairly common problem, What has anyone done to make it stop?

Someday maybe we'll get everyone's fixed. Until then...rip out the console and start cutting wires and taping them together....
