94 1.8 DOHC protege fit a 91 EGT?

I need to know if my auto trans 1994 mazda protege 1.8l DOHC HEAD will fit/swap onto my 1991 Ford Escort GT 1.8L DOHC mazda motor. Blew a exhaust valve in the head of the EGT, and I have a perfectly good protege '94 1.8 DOHC head. The motors look completely identical, just need to know if it's a direct swap. Thanks!

w00t! Thanks for the good news. Will have the mazda protege valve cover in the EGT mess things up? Also, I'm trying to cut whatever costs I can. Do I need to get the head machined when i take it out of the protege? I've heard the head sometimes warps when u take it out. Also, do I have to buy a FULL HEAD gasket SET? or just the head gasket?
Thanks again!
