if u were faster then all the hondas, then u wouldnt hate them at all. you would just not care a bout them but if they beat u all the time, that would make u hate them
there are exactly 8 Honda's in my area that can beat me. the rest are a waste of my time. so i still dont see your point...

And anyone who "wouldn't put anything Honda on their car just because it's Honda" is IGNORANT. The only way you ever learn about cars and gain knowledge about them is to read up/ study ALL types of vehicles. You never know what kind of ideas you may find that will cross over to your own vehicle.
you are ignorant for saying some dumb **** like that. as soon as the intake manifold from a B16 can fit on a BP-DE, then ill worry about 'crossing over' parts...

Holy crap jerks..were are talking about trying to take advatige of the Auto communities over infatuation w/ Honda parts to get a discount body kiit for the Pro. It's not about brand name parts nor does a body kit say "Honda" anywhere on it! Get over yourselves!

Ha ha it is sad but true, most of you hate honda because they can beat you. Why else would u hate a car that gets 30 plus mpg looks good, Runs well past 200k and is faster than a protege? Dont be pissed because some stock civic with a wing and altezzas whooped your ***. Granted some proteges/323's will beat them but most ex/delsol si civics will run a protege

I said IDEAS may cross over. That's why I study ALL kinds of cars. V8's, 4's, FWD, RWD, Import, Domestic. If you don't care about what technology and ideas are coming out for other vehicles, you won't get any ideas for your own vehicle.

For people to hate on other vehicles is their business. But to say "I'd never put anything Honda on my car" is IGNORANT. What if something DID cross over and it gave power gains? Would you be so ignorant and stubborn to NOT put it on your car simply because it was Honda?

I don't hate on anyone or any car that is performance oriented. RICE on the other hand...

What do you have done to your 323 that will beat a type r or a turbo h22a anything?. Im sorry but my statement stands, I drive a 93 lx 5 speed one of the quickest proteges ever made and I can't even whoop on a 1.6 liter sohc vtec delsol! Now lets compare 1.8 dohc 16 valve protege verse a 1.6 liter SOHC vtec honda and I can barely pull from him. So yeah Hondas suck because they made a car that has 200 less cc with one cam that is taking on my dohc 1.8 liter. Whoever says **** about Honda is ignorant they have a 2.0 pushing like 250 hp? we get 130?. Don't hate the car hate the driver.

there is a couple ppl that have adapted some kits to fit but they are supposed to be a lil longer and have a gap between the bumper and the grill

just got done dropping in the 1.8L BP-DE with a custom-made exhaust manifold, T3/4 turbo, cryo-dipped GTX pistons and rods, ported and polished head, port matched intake manifold, titanium valves and springs, GTX cams, UR cam gears, UR underdrive pulleys, GTX ECU, monster Spearco FMIC, etc. this setup was dynoed last week at 289whp. i havent broken any axles yet, but im sure i will as i tend to crave more boost.

i will give Honda credit for producing a motor that makes 125hp per liter, however, i still dont like Honda Motor Co. for many reasons. if you care for me to indulge, i will, but not now. im tired...

ok But a stock protege/323 will get stomped by most civics, Do you have pics of this setup? Why did you cryo dip the pistons and rods? and why are you using a gtx ecu ? what size injectors? And what valves and springs did you use? Im just curious to this setup it seem like a one of a kind . Jon

lol well my friend has a mtx 99 honda civic ex vtech and when my friend owned the protege that i do ( 90LX.. mtx) all that was done to the pro was a muffler, the civic had catback, headers, intake, newplugs wires.. and the protege still romped it. as he mssed up shifting into 2nd ( nad slipped off, so it stayed in neautral, and 2 reach back up and go to 2nd ) still KILLED it..

but anyway its still stupid to hate honda just because people do stupid stuff to them
