I didn't pick on you, I posted a reply. Many others here don't like it when people post the same thing in many different forums. I was probably just the first one to post that. I own a second gen but do go to other forums and post when I've got something to add that I think might help. I looked at the springs in the photo and its just too hard to tell wether theyre mazda springs or not.

they have the proper shapes, so they could be, but who knows from just a pic.

 

It's been awhile since I've looked at stock springs, but I don't think that those are.
