Protege suspension.

Hey guys. New to this forum. I've been on the 323performance one for a while, though. Anyway, this spring, I'm going to attempt the BPT swap for my 323. My question is, what's the difference between an early 90's Pro LX and the other lower end models. I know the LX has the DOHC 1.8, whereas the others have the SOHC. But my concern is the suspension. Are they the same? They must be pretty similiar, but on suspension web sites, the two are sometimes listed separately. I need at least the front end of a Pro to do the swap, but I figure I might as well take the whole suspension so all the corners are matching. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Something else to note, the US LX and Canadian GT had a stronger transmission, with shorter gears.

sorry about the confusion. I though the first gen was the 323 sedan from the late 80's. I guess it really wasn't called a Pro until '90.

oh. I had one more question. Does the Pro from this gen have power steering? That popped into my head today when I was driving my Sooby. Am I going to have to make some crazy mods to the steering of my 323 to make this work? or is as simple as slapping a steering box at the end of the pitman arm?
