Has anyone else had a problem with the parking brake locking? A couple of years ago, when I went to the ski hill. I put on the parking brake out of habit. When I came back, I found that I was dragging the drivers rear tire along. I crawled under and managed to dislodge the caliper. Since then the brake would occasionally lock. I have since replace the calipers. Just wondering if that was a one off, or if this is a known problem with the 4 wheel disk protege's or perhaps all first gen's

seems to be a fairly common problem with early 90's mazdas....there was a great site about this that i read a while back but i can't find it now.
anyway i had the same problem - fixed it when i got a hold of some calipers from a wrecked pro that had not seen the 'white stuff'...
