Brake Pads

Looking on corksport, which should I get for the 323. The KVR Carbon Fiber pads or the Metal Matrix pads? Other suggestions and where to buy them welcome. How long will this install take me? It's FRIGGIN' cold out, and I don't want to be getting frostbite while changing my brake pads.

I think I'm going to go with the EBC Greenstuff pads when I replace my calipers pretty soon. You can get them on tirerack.com. I also hear the Hawk HPS's are good too. You can get them at the same place. Just don't get the one's for racing.

I don't need anything super-performance, just a decent long-lasting replacement set. I'll go to tirerack and check out those pads. Thanks, fellas.

Well I dont know how long the pads last but I do know that they have a great bit, the KVR's that is, since I have them on my 323 right now. And I dont seam to have that much of a dust problem either.

I'll 2nd that. I am going on 40,000 miles on the KVRs. Of course I don't make them work but when they heat up they bite very well. Initially they dust but after a while it goes away. When it is very cold and wet outside is when you HAVE to heat them up before getting out of the parking lot. Good Luck.
