What do you do with the sensor

umm dont call me stupid for this but on the intake there is a sensor and if you dissconnect it the engine doesnt start how the heck are all of you puttin intake kits on with nowhere to hook it up tell me what i am missingi have a 94 LX i really want an intake so help me out
