Weird Idling?

Aight, I was driving around today for a good hour or two. After that, my idle went up to like 1900 rpm's. What could be the cause of this? Usually it idles just fine at 750-800. Any ideas?

Is it doing it all the time now, or has it gone away? If it always idles high, it could be your CAF, which is a temperature sensitive meter on your throttle body that allows extra air into the combustion process until your car is warmed up. It's a black plastic piece with a hose, not a wire, going into it. Sometimes when they go bad, they stick open. To confirm whether or not this is the problem, take a pair of pliers and pinch the hose leading to the CAF.

If, when you pinch the hose, your idle returns to normal, that's your problem.

If that doesn't change it, maybe your throttle body needs to be cleaned.
