wandering wich one's the best SOHC or DOHC..now i asking this because my bro

have a 98 Pro DOHC and i beat him ( not by much though) so does it really make a

I know DOHC is supposed to be better, I forget why though, somthing to do with the engine running more efficeintly etc.

Yes the DOHC is better. Your brother's car is probably a 1.5L compared to your 1.8L.

the dx is only 103 hp, but it puts out more torque : 111. the lx puts out more horsepower to the flywheel 125 but the torque is 114. which is pretty close to the dx. Plus the lx weighs 100 lbs more. not that the weight difference matters very much.
but torque..-the power thats put down to the wheels right?
They say "Power is what you read about. TORQUE is what you FEEL."
I say the better driver wins it.
But then again, i could be wrong. i hope what i said made sense.

sometimes the rev limiter/speedometer can be off by a little bit. but i think that sounds about right. still though...take it to 65oo.
