Are you subject to any smog tests where you live? My resonator isn't really good anymore either. I'm sure removing it wouldn't really do anything to the smog test.

I'm guessing that it's pretty damn loud now.......especially on the highway. Doesn't all the added noise bother you ?

I had mine removed a while back, it was leaking anyhow so I told the guy at the shop to just cut it out and weld some pipe in its place. Now I want to put it back in, gets annoying at highway speeds and Im not sure it makes that much difference in power. Anybody know where I could get a good one?

The resonater has nothing to do with emmisions ,it is only for noise reduction .

I took mine out in the summer, it was a worthless waste of time.

no worrys bout smog for it has nothing to do with it, like said above, and no actually i found it did get louder but not overly loud and when i removed it it gave it a different tone too, it dosent bother me cuz there are louder cars out there mine is actually quiet compared to some ive been in, so im happy with it
