Out with the Old, Almost in with the New

The BP came out today and the GTX will be taking its place soon. I'm giving away the old SOHC engine, with 176000 miles. You only pay shipping.

Here's some pics for your entertainment.

sweet deal .. I see you took it out through the top .. hmm I was wondering if that was easier than dropping the motor out the bottom ..

We dropped a motor out of a CRX thursday .. we just used the lift and jacked the car up real high .. took the mounts off and lowered the motor through the bottom .. honda's are like that .. but looking at the pics .. looks like a easy pull .. hmmm nothing in the way?

it actually may have been easier to drop it out of the bottom, if you can get the car high enough to do so. I ended up taking the radiator out, and all of the mounts off. It was a tight squeeze, but other than that nothing was in the way.you could get away with only taking 1 mount off if you dropped it through the bottom, and you won't have to worry about your radiator or anything.
