Major exhaust Question

for the street you have to have a cat and muffler, but for nonop or race cars, anything goes. but our engines require the backpressure these create, so it's beneficial to have them.

you can omit the cat, but the noise from having no muffler will deafen you, as well as reduce backpressure.
