K&N Filter

I am going to be going to the track soon and will not have my custom intake done yet. I have the RX7 MAF meter but it is not in yet. So I thought about just putting on the cone k&n for right now till I get the RX7 intake finished to put in. The question I have: What size of cone filter will I need if I am riping the plastic air box and resinator out and just clamping a cone on the MAF? With the RX7 MAF I plan on putting a down pipe on it to get some cooler air but that is not done yet. Any ideas?????

if that works cool...but i would just say, get the replace ment box air filter replaced with the K&N filter. I might go out and get that K&N filter and put my old Intake setup back in.

Why do you say that? Is your intake not working out?
