GTX Engine Swap

I am looking at putting a J-Spec BPT in my Protege GT. I have found one at a fairly good price, but without a wiring harness and ECU. The guy claims I can use the existing ECU and wiring harness. I'm am very skeptical. Has anyone done this with success?

I'm running my gtx engine on my stock lx 93 ecu (same has gt)with no trouble until 14psi then it leans out so i keep it at 10psi for the moment (i'm going to install bigger injector) and i use a msd boost timing retard system. The engine has been running for 4 months now and i did a 13.8 at 104mph on monday at the track.

You can use the stock harness if you get an APEXi sAFC and MSC Ignition Retard unit...

I prefered to pay the extra $500 and be able to tune my engine though. Well worth it.
