Talking Engine Help

HEy what up everyone i just recieved my new engine for my mazda 323 1990 hatch and i was told that my car would be running high 13s or low 14s what the J-Spec 1.8L DOHC 16valve with a BPturbo with 180 horse. Does ne one know if that is true or what and how hard is the install cause i have to change the trans and everything i wasnt sure if i should do it or i should have it done by mechanics thanks alot

Thanks and yes i did get the turbo and a new ecu but corksport said i dont need to change harness and stuff and i picked up a new trans from junkyard with all the mounts so i hope it works thanks alot

I paid $2190 (That includes $220 for shipping to Texas) for the engine, and the install is gonna be somewhere between$1200 and $1500 at the local shop. I hope to have my car back Thursday. It has been almost 6 weeks since the Nitrous Incident!

To find out what happend. I had just raced, and beet a VW Passat about 3 minutes before the Check Engine Light came on.

If I do, I will have some safety features in place and probably use the Nos NOSzle system for EFI engines.

yeah thats the way i would go when i decided to put nos in just a small amount for emergencies lol and i will probably use nos or NX nitrous Express. so was your car stock when your were spraying

Yeah, but I used a Zex kit. The reason it failed was because I hooded up the vacuum lines wrong! My phuckup! There are several on both boards who have Nitrous, and have had no problems on stock internals.

Aight cool thanks but first i am just going to do mainly everything i can to my engine before nos and Derrick says i will be running 12s which is a nice speed to be sittin at. And then i will go up to the city and so them some **** but hopefully it works out. Hey what do you think of the EVO 3 kit on my car i have a 1990 323 hatch
