Back firing

I have a bad back firing problem. We have set timing, all plugs and wires are accounted for.It idles fine but when you give it gas it stumbles, backfires and dies. And if you can get it going it gets hot real quick not dangerous hot just hotter than it should be.

We have tried everything. This car has never ran anyway but strong.Someone told me it could be the exhaust valves and another said a blown head gasket. Please all inquires wanted. Thanks

I think it sounds like a fuel problem also.
