Ajustement of the vane airflow

I need to adjust the spring for the little bar inside the vaf i adjusted the vaf already but the spring tension his to soft when i get full boost 10psi for the moment there's to much fuel so i want the spring to be harder so i'll kept my idle but i'm not going to have to much fuel on boots. I noticed a screw in the case with a lock nut an i'm wondering if that the adjustement i would think so

What do you mean by too much fuel? Are you running rich or are you noticing a problem at full throttle? Im not sure about changing or tightening the spring in the VAF. I don't think that modifying the meter is the way to go, as it could effect idle and drivabilty of the motor.

The trouble his that i use piggy-bag to run it for this summer i plan on running it either with the haltec or the sds stand-alone next summer. The trouble his that when i accelerate the computer send to much fuel at around 4000 rpm and the motor cuts with a big backfire. At first i used a extra injector system from sds but i run the gtx injector so it already has to much gas so i closed the eic. I adjusted the vaf so i would have a stable idle but that where the trouble come from i have to inrich the idle so the engine would run correctly at idle. I don't really care if the engine has to much fuel it's just that it's really to much presently.

I had a similar problem when I installed GT-X injectors. Terrible idle, engine cuts off at low RPMs, and a lot of black smoke coming out of the tailpipe. I found that if you tighten the coil on the air-flow meter the problem was somewhat fixed. Just take the air-flow meter cover off and turn the wheel clockwise and test. I went from a 3 o-clock position to a 6 o'clock position to get the idle fixed. Don't forget to mark the spot where the wheel was at originally in case you need to go back.

That was already done the trouble come from to much fuel at hight rpm. I did a major check on all part of the engine and everything his alright the temp changed a little and it's running smoother so it may be the intake air temp that has to be played with but i don't have time to work on the car for a couples of days so i'll see later

u can adjust vaf but turning a gear inside the vaf.there is lock spring on the gear.if u want to make the srpring stronger just turn 2 clicks at the time and testdrive to relase the tension u would have to hold the lock spring away frm the gear.there is also hiden screw on top of the vaf u might have tu drill ou tthe plug that covers it.that screw will ajust the by pass air.if u make srping stronger u will have to screw the screw in to close the by pass so more air goes tru vaf and opens the flaper door .
