First some info:
I have a 1988 Mercury Tracer Wagon with an 1989 Mazda 323 1.6 B6 SoHc auto this was done when i purchased it so i have no information on what is from that car and what is from my car. Anyway i am in dire need of any way to help me retain my "original" engineness and throw some performance parts at it or just swap the engine.


Ok now a Few questions:
1. I have heard their is a dohc b6 will the head fit my sohc block?

2. If the 1st gen miatas bave the same/similar engines as me will stock parts/aftermarket parts from them give me an improvmet such as exhaust manifold, intake, etc.... ?

3. Are there any bolt in engine swaps?

4. Any cars i can steal parts from? (I.e. Ford escort, mazda miata, mazda protege, mercury tracer, etc.....)

5. Any sites i can buy some parts for my specific engine? so far i've found none
