wheel and tire questions

Ok, after hitting a rock and bending the wheel(yes, it was a big rock) and putting a hole in the tire I have been using the spare for about 50 miles now. To get a new freckin wheel it would be $80 and with a good Michelin tire with installation from a local tire guy around me is going to be $150.

This is rediculously expensive and the guy said I could go to a junkyard around me and get a wheel and tire for about $25-$50 depending on condition. My dad bought the tires at Costco and they are Michelin X I think. I've never been to a junk yard-what do I ask them for? Do I have to be very specefic or can they just look at my car tires and know what protege tire and wheel would fit?

Does any year from 1990 from 1994 fit on my car(94 protege dx) or can I use different years?

Thank you.

our wheel's bolt design is 4 x 100. 4 lugs, 100mm. so as long as its 4 x 100, it'll fit

protege tires and wheels

it is always better to be specific about the car model and the engine(whether its DOHC or SOHC). but if you cant find the exact i am pretty sure it wouldnt disturb anything as long as the wheels afterwards are balanced and aligned.
