replacing OEM tires

I have a 2012 pre-skyactive itouring 4-door, manual, 45000 miles. One of the tires has a gash on the outer surface and should be replaced. With New England winter coming, I'm ready to replace all four even though I could squeeze another 6 months out of them.

Original equipment Bridgestone Turanza EL400 205/55R16 89H. Very happy with the tires, though to replace them with EL400-02 at $120+ is a little pricey for me. Any alternatives that folks would recommend?

Thanks.

Well you could always just get a set of winter wheels/tires and then worry about replacing your dead tire in the spring. I just ordered a set of 16" steelies and a set of Blizzak WS-80's for about $800 mounted/balanced/shipped from tirerack
