Protege5 Tires

I was at Discount Tire Co. and found out that replacement 195/50/R16 tires cost anywhere from $100 to $174 each, depending on the brand. The Dunlops were the most expensive. This price includes balancing, valve stems, etc. These are not kept in stock and is about a 5 day wait. Anyone find a cheaper price somewhere else? For those of you who have several thousand miles on your car, how are the stock tires holding up? V and Z rated tires don't come with a mileage warranty so I'm trying to gage how tire wear will be down the road. I realize driving habits and tire maintenance will have an effect on actual mileage.

Thanks for the link. I'm glad I checked them out. They do have some good prices on tires. Hopefully I won't need any for a long time

Wy don't you call Rishie at Automotive R & D, I KNOW he can get you a "Smoking Deal" on some tires. All I know is that the price he sold me my Kumho 711's for was AWESOME.

ask for Rishie or Sean.
