The 205/45-16 tire is not an optimum choice for the P5 as the OEM wheel width is only 6". Most tire manufacturers specify a minimum of 7" wheel width for that tire size. For that reason, the 205/50-16 would be a better choice on the stock P5 wheel.

As well as safety and longevity-The 205/45-15 doesn't carry the car properly, and cannot dissapate the energy of sharp impacts effectively enough. Causes the tire undue stress, and will result in a bubbled sidewall or a blown tire.

I would not tell anyone to do the 45 profile.
