Hi. I'm thinking ahead. I actually already have over 36000 miles on my 2010 mazda 3 i-touring.

I wondered if anyone had any suggestions for a tire to replace my originals.

I am thinking about getting (4) Pirelli P-4 all-season tires. Is this a good choice? Any reason not to get these and get a different kind?

its been a lil while on this post, but I can only recommend against the continental extreme contact DWS and the goodyear eagle GT. I tried both on my car and the tread 'walks' horribly.
The P4 all season doesn't look like it has a very good tread for snow- depending where you live that may not be a concern. the 760 treadwear rating should last waay longer than the stock tires.
