So they already came today .. I was amazed. They shipped yesterday and arrived today!!

I ended up using my old generic lug nuts to get them on cuz I couldn't wait any longer to get them installed. I love the way they look, but I gotta get some nice lug nuts for sure.

Also, I broke one of the studs while I was taking off my old wheels so now I'm kinda stumped as far as how to go about fixing it. Anyone have any ideas? See pic 3 for a better view..

Update!!

Got new lug nuts from a buddy of mine and fixed the broken stud. Wasn't as bad to replace as I thought it'd be, but I still wouldn't wanna do it again. Had to take off the caliper & rotor to get to the damned thing so it was more work removing and installing the brake components than anything. Anyway, here are pics.

aha I finally see a difference between our wheels.. the center part on your wheels have a bigger diameter, and I think thicker spokes overall

such a cool design I love em, the black looks nice on your car too

I think they're the same. Kyowa probably bought the molds from Exel. They all look tight, though!

The center part is a lot thicker. The center part (hub?) of my rotors actually sticks out past the wheels, as you can kinda see in that picture. His wheels more than cover them.

They're the next closest replica to the advans though, that's for sure. I've seen a few other replicas that just didn't get it quite right, either the spokes were a bit too fat or too flat, or they didn't go alll the way to the edge, etc.

my fav thing still is that they look a lot bigger than they really are. sure, people laugh at me at autocrosses because they think that I'm running 18s, but the wheels are damn light and I love the look. I just need to get meatier tires on mine.

Krayzie, what tire size are you running? They look a little bit taller than mine, like maybe they're 215/40

Nope .. 205/40 still. It's what came with the wheels, they're crap!! Strata Zeno is what they are (stock Cobalt tires) but they have tread so I'll keep them until they wear out.

I agree about these looking a lot bigger than they are. I thought they were 18" myself before I bought them, so I'm guilty of the crime as well. They're not much lighter than my other wheels tho .. about 21 lbs a piece.

aww rats. they still look sexy! I bought my wheels assuming they'd be in the 20 pound range, and for two years continued to assume they were :P

Did you weigh the wheels (with or without tire), or just judging based off how they felt compared to your old wheels?

My 205/40s look teeny compared to those. I guess it's probably because mine are all at the wear sensors ha

I'm just guessing. When they came UPS had them weighed at 36 lbs a wheel with tires & 32 psi of air. I looked up the tires and they weigh about 14.5 lbs, and there's probably a .5 lb of air in there as well so I was just guessing about 21 lbs for the wheel itself. On top of that they feel exactly like the old ones did so they feel about that heavy too. I really don't care cuz they look uber sexy

Crap those are light tires--most that size are 18-22 pounds.

They very well could be ... and I hope they are cuz that makes my rims that much lighter

There's not much info on the tires anywhere so the weight I found could be wrong. I should look into this a bit more ..
