18" Rims ona P5????????????

Does anyone here have 18" rims on their ride???? I just wanted to know what kind of wheel gap there would be with stock springs. Im thinking of getting the Eibach springs with 1.3" drop........do you guys think the Gap will be covered with this kind of drop?????????

I would get the H & R's, I have 18's and it sits perfect. But beware of the offset you get as well as wait for the struts to come in.

Good luck, Rishie

Which wheels were you looking at?

Well im not sure yet.................I was thinking of some volks TE37 white or bronze to go with my midnight blue. Hey how do the H&rs ride.......are they bouncy at all or is it almost like stock and how much of a gap do you have on the wheel well??

YellowPR5 with 18's and GC Coil-overs

I have the Protege5 and lowered my car with the GC coil-overs. I then baught 18" rims. You can see pics here. The pictures show the coil-overs at their HIGHEST setting. The rear wheels rub slightly (when I hit BIG bumps or turn too sharp/fast)even after I cut part of the fender well out. I'll post the offset and such when I get a chance to look it up again.

That's what I'm talking about: Lightweight forged racing wheel.

I run on TE37's on my s/c miata. I am a wherehouse distributor for Volk and can get you an amazing deal. Let me know if interested.

I know that it's real easy for wheels to rub on the P5, that's why I am here to tell you what will fit.

Put it this way, the stock MP3 wheels are 17,7 +55 mm offset. You could probably run an 8" wheel with a +55 on the p5 or MP3. Just have to check clearance in the front.

To get the most aggressive stance I would reccommend a 7.5" width +48mm offset minimum.

Thanks, Rishie

I just need to know what style along with the color of wheel you are interested in. Do you have a good friend out of state, like nearby. How can you pay? Money order or credit card.

Thanks, rishie

Advan, Sparco, Blitz, Racing Hart, SSR, Volk Racing, BBS, OZ Racing, Enkei, Rota, Konig, AMG, Lorinser, Oettinger, Hamann, Carlsson, and several others. As well as most knock off cast wheels.

Our best pricing is on the Volk and ADR line.

See ya, Rishie

Beware offsets, BEWARE.

Volks depending on style can weigh 16lbs in an 18" wheel.
Rota as well has an 18" that is probably 18lbs.

How much for a set of 17x7½ TE37's in bronze (if they come that wide) for a protege 5? How much is shipping?
