Just put 17x7 42offset on my wifes car. Running 205/40/17 with eibach pros on. No problems, heard it would work but would be close. Not close at all. The wheels are bronze. looks pretty sweet being her car is almost that color. Wish i could post some pic, but don't know how yet. For anyone looking at wheels with this setup you shouldn't have any problems.

 

The real question is what car did you put them on (P5, protege, etc..)? What brand rim? And how do they look? Pictures?
