Winnipeg Winter Meet
 

Calling all Winnipegers!!! Last meet we had an attendance of 15+ Proteges and that was a good turn-out. But since then I have only 9 members who kept in contact.
So hopefully the others will show up for this Winter Meet and this time they have to leave some kind of way that we can keep in contact with.
They will be some new members that is going to join us (or already did).

Remember!!! This meet is for all proteges 1st/2nd/3rd/P5/MP3, so if you know someone that has a protege they are Welcome to join us.

Please suggest a DAY/TIME/WHERE for this meet.
Then we'll agree and set the meet up....

Well, i guess i better start this....are we having the meet the same day that we pick our wires up??? Because if we're organizing an "official meet", we should give more than a few days notice...and i can't wait that long for my wires:D

Lol no man , this is totally different and as for the wires, its hard to find a day that we are all free, so we can either have a meet a certain time and whoever cant make it can just go to reys house and pick it up

Hey guys....sorry i've been neglecting this board....i've been on mp3.com lately.....First off, a big welcome to Ja_Rho2.0.....glad to see a new member ( even if it is a non MP3 lazer blue). Anyone know of a place to get inexpensive tinting.

Every place is pretty much the same....when i had my Protege 5, i went to Autotrim....they did a nice job and it cost me around 260 dollars i think....for my mp3, they quoted me at 230.

I paid $195 at Future Tint on Scurfield, but they won't do anything darker than legal (50% front, 35% back). I still like the results though!! They did a great job on it.

WEll guys not to be an as$ or anything, but can we at least talk about a date b4 we get sidetracked? I say sometime in Janurary sounds good, perhaps mid jaurary? Second weekend in janurary or something like that? Post replys with dates that u prefer, and with dates that for sure u cant make so we can come to a mutual agreement, thx,

Sorry Phu, I also thought we agreed on the 11th. And Dave, I didn't get a courtesy car from Future, but my salesman at Gerry Gordon's game me a loaner ('99 626) for the day and the guy from Future game me a ride over there to pick it up.

really, thats super nice of your dealership to borrow you a car....my dealership would never do that for me:mad:

I know, I was quite shocked too... I didn't even ask, when I told him I was getting the tint done he just came out and offered. I guess that's the difference between a good dealership and a bad one... all I know, is my next car will be bought from Gerry Gordon's again!!

Winter Meet will be on

January 11th 2003( from what most of you agreed on) at
12' O clock (Noon) till 1pm after that we'll go have coffee at the food court.

Place: Portage Place Parking Lot, on Vaughn (Pomenade Parking Lot) near the YMCA. Once you get in look for proteges, I prepare to be close to the entrance so we all can see everyone that comes in.

So If you couldn't make it that time then you'll see us at the food court.

Please if you see some members from the last meet, ask if they know about this Winter Meet.

Johnny Pro, I know someone that would do the tinting for $180 and he uses Illuminar and 3M. He did mine.

Sweet. Bring details (phone # and stuff) to the meet. I might actually have to money to get it done by then.

Ok that time sounds good i guess, so what exactly we gonna do at the meet? Hopefully a big group hug is involved :gay: lol

hey soma maybe if you talked to your sales rep he would offer you a courtesy car....don't let a bad thing like that change ur mind on how the dealership is.......and as for goblues...ya gerrys is a good dealership but common did you do your shopping too see what the best deal you can get......as our moto goes everyone loves a gauthier deal....lmao....gerrys has there down sides as ours does too....and i can name ever down side gerrys has and destination has but i won't cause i have respect for other dealerships..... we will beat anyones deal out there guarenteed...ask kuba and myself hell we have never lost one to them yet....YET...lol.....anyway.....check our dealership out in 2 weeks were make a performance group to modify cars now.....oh ya...thats right....gerrys and destination don't have that.....lol....jk

PErsonally i found destination to be the best, i went to all 3 and destination gave me the best deal and best service, i dont know who it was, but the faag at gerry gordans pissed me off, i was gonna punch him in the face, every question i asked him he aswered me with another question , when all i wanted was a simple answer, and the regent one, just gave me a crappy offer, the ppl i delt with at destination were nice as shiets, so they got my money lol...

but how do you find the service at destination...can you believe that the service/parts guys at regents said, and i quote "we really don't know much about your car"....for christs sake, its a mazda! You make the damn cars! :rolleyes:
