calgary meet 2
 

the first wednesday of september is aproaching. Anyone up for another calgary meet? this time i will bring donuts to make up for last time when i didn't bring anything.

Sunday 1st? i am up for it if it's @ 19:00, i think Sunday is a better day for me since i only work 1 job that day, i am off at 16:00 so we can meet earlier if you'd like, same place? stadium?

I think it's better off if we wait for the Alberta meet. Then we can decide. Just my opinion, though.

I am with Mike. Then we'll have more Calgary people to meet with. It'll be fun. And if I am correct from all the posts that I have read: They'll be a few people in RD that day! Pro's, Miatas, and maybe even RX7's...crazy...Talk about a blast!

Hey Mike, I was interested in getting a K&N filter too. Do you notice a difference? Serious no fool'in huh? Or is it just a bunch of marketing BS?

Well, my butt dyno tells me maybe....
What I've noticed is that in the higher revs (>4000 rpm), you can really hear a difference...almost like a whine/air being pulled in.
It feels a bit stronger, but going from one to the other isn't noticeable IMO.

BUT, I can't remember hearing it before, so I think it's a result of the filter.

Methinks mostly hype. I think it does allow air to flow more easily, but the major restriction is the stock intake...but hey, I still bought one. :D

no all marketing BS, jsut get a CAI you know you want it.. YOU WANT ONE DAMN IT!

Did you have to disconnect your battery to lose the MAF info for the new filter? Just wondering as that is what we have to do with the Ractive ones. I doubt it, as it is the same volume of air in the pipes. Hmmm, interesting.

Can anyone head up a campaign to get 'Protegeclub.com' stickers? It would be cool to have them for the meet in Red Deer. Maybe they can say 'Protegeclub.com/Calgary/Edmonton/Alberta or something like that...I don't know just an idea.:rolleyes:
