I would come but I have no idea how to get their from Apple Valley, and I get off work at 5pm. I don't even have a pro either just a 6s. As for Rev it up I haven't sign up yet.

If you want to come, the best way to get there is to take 77 N to 62 E, to 55 N to 35W N to Co Rd. D (take a left going W) to Silver Lake (go right, N.)

If have some friends who live in Lakeview, it's a hike, but you would be going in the opposite direction of trafic for the most part.

I got an idea, you bring your car and we'll practice driving it for Rev It Up!! :D

Yea I'll be there, I might be a little late. I'm a good boy, I follow speed limits. As for driving my car..... I'm pretty anal about protecting my car  Friends think I'm a little Obsessed with the car, guess they are correct.

Can't say I blame you. I'm the same way with mine. That's MY butt-groove in the seat, and that's the way it's going to stay!:D

There is a possiblity of putting a car on display, but the restrictions on keeping it in the dispaly is very tight. Anyone wanting to commit to the 6:30 am to 6:00 pm schedule, let me know.

VIP

Everyone Check your PMs, I sent the link to you, just print out the appropriate letter and bring it with you. We're starting around 5pm Friday at the State Fair Grounds, I don't know where in the Fair grounds, but I suspect where the Midway is set up. See you there.

QQT June-6th-2003 12:50 PM

I'll be their sat to watch and fool around some.

Mark_02DX June-6th-2003 07:56 PM

WTF?! I showed up at about 6:30 tonight and there was no one there! :(

Anyway, I have a banner, if we have a place to put it. Would have been done sooner, but I've been sick all week.

mazdaspeed.....mmmmmmmm:drool:  (theres a reason why the 5mph sign is posted on the bumpy portion though)

sileighty21 June-8th-2003 05:46 PM

i was out there today for a bit. it was a blast. i really liked the mazdaspeed. really nice car. the 6s was also nice, very quick off the line. i also got yelled at, hehe. i took a 6spd miata out and beat on it pretty good. then i came back around in the 6s. the guy told me, "you need to cool it down, that last lap was a little too warm, don't wanna make the guy in the van mad." hehe. it was fun though. glad i made it out there.

QQT June-8th-2003 11:23 PM

Wow, I wonder if my manual is like that? Or is this an auto issue?

Kopp0041 June-9th-2003 10:22 AM

The guy in the van was an ass, I got honked at, and I saw several people get a black X. Oh well, It was a blast, and the rumor is, thier coming back next year with brand new 2004 6's. I'll post some pics when I get my film developed.

the 6 REALLY let me down. esopecially when i was trying to autocross with it. the engine is TOTALLY unresponsive.... WHen i wanted to GO i would floor it, wait 5 seconds for the egnine to realize i was flooring it and then give it gas. thats a no-no.

thats why i love my manual, power on demand, none of this BS wait 5 seconds stuff.

but yeah, ill make a post and post some pics, but i got 8th place in club.

What was your time to get you 8th in club??
